General Information
After 11 years, the World TREC Championships are returning to France from the 19th to 21st September 2008 at the Federal Equestrian Park, Lamotte Beuvron.
The discipline is being opened up to new nations this year, due to a partnership program set up by France with the support of the International Equestrian Tourism Federation (FITE). Countries following this program will be trained by french TREC technicians for 4 years, including two world championships and the organization of TREC events in these countries each year.
This 9th edition will be marked by the first time appearance in this major international competition of Iceland, Algeria and Romania, among others.
This major event is focused on outdoor riding and working equitation and the program includes the French Working Equitation and Western Equitation Championships, an international driving TREC competition and demonstrations of Icelandic riding.
